The Omega 1 Lift Chair is available in five different sizes and can accommodate people from 4’6” up to 6’2”.

Each of these five sizes can be adjusted to make a chair that is exactly the right size.

The Omega 1 mechanism allows the footrest to completely raise before the back starts to recline. This allows the person to sit upright with the legs completely raised. Most lift chairs do not have this function.

The Topform Omega 1 lift chair are available in a hundreds of different fabrics, leathers, vinyls and waterproof materials. Fabric choicedoes vary the price of the chair.

Safety Features

  • External Step Down transformer: Power is reduced from 240 volts down to 9 volts. There is no chance of a shock if liquid is spilled on the chair.

  • Battery Back Up: During a power failure, the chair can still be operated, insuring that the user doesn’t become stuck in the chair.

West Dawson Build Quality & Warranty

West Dawson Omega 1 lift chairs are fully Australian made. They are built using a Tasmanian Oak hardwood frame, and have fully steel sprung seats and use Dunlop Enduro Foam. They have a 10-year warranty on frame, springing, and seat foam padding. They have a three-year warranty on mechanism and electrical parts.

All West Dawson Omega 1 Lift Chairs are available with 2 or 3 seater matching sofas, recliners and fixed chairs. They can, therefore, be easily integrated into a lounge suite.

Footrest fully extends before the back reclines.

Wallsaver mechanism

Chair moves forward as it reclines. 10cm clearance is all that is neededto make the chair fully recline.

The Omega 2 mechanism adds a second motor and a six-button hand control. This allows for very precise adjustment of the chair. This is mainly used for very specific back conditions and for some heart patients.

  • Wall-saver Mechanism: Chair can be situated three inches from wall and fully recline without making contact.
  • Lockable Castors: Small lockable castors allow the chair to be moved easily for cleaning or transport.

  • Triple Cushion adjustable back: Lumbar, thoracic, and cervical cushions can be adjusted at any time via the zipped individual back cushions.
  • Fully Covered Footrest: Provides extra comfort, and stops potential skin tears from the metal mechanism.
  • Fully Australian-made: All parts are available within one day. The Omega 1 mechanism is incredibly durable. If, however, there is accidental breakage, parts can be replaced the same day.
